Hiked in, the reputation is deserved. Spring is a little far but the grounds are excellent.
If you want to go camping the shelters on the Appalachian trail are not for you! There for people hiking! I'm so sick of you people!
Excellent shelter lots of room, picnic tables, and multiple fire pits. The outhouse isn't bad when compared to others on the trail.
