Align Yoga is a great studio to learn and practice yoga whether you have never tried yoga before or if you have been practicing for years. I've done yoga for over 15 years, but it wasn't until I started taking classes from Kristen that I truly became a student of the practice and integrated it as part of my life - mind, body, and spirit. I have attended Align for the past year (learning the Ashtanga Primary series) and have completely transformed my life. I am healthier, happier, and stronger more than I have ever been (and down 25 pounds - an extra perk!), practicing up to 6 days a week. While the practice is challenging, no one should be intimidated to give it a try. What I love most about Kristen's approach is that she teaches each student the sequence according to his/her abilities. There is always a modification for poses, and as you gain more strength and flexibility, she will offer you new poses and adjustments. Kristen is patient and motivating, and sets the tone for a supportive yoga community in our small town of Waynesboro. I highly recommend Kristen and her studio at Align Yoga.
